My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Elyanne, a true survivor with a heart full of love. Abandoned by her owner, Elyanne was found nursing her kittens under a parked car, despite being painfully thin and doing everything she could to protect them. She gave all she had to her babies, though tragically, one of her kittens was hit by a car and didn't survive. Through it all, Elyanne remained calm and laid back, a testament to her strength and nurturing spirit.

Elyanne is ready for a second chance at life, where she can leave behind the hardships of her past and finally enjoy the comfort and care she deserves. This beautiful, resilient cat would do well in a quiet home where she can relax and be the center of attention. Despite all she's been through, Elyanne is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and laid-back.

If you’re looking for a cat who will be a gentle and loving companion, Elyanne is the perfect choice. Will you be the one to give her the forever home she’s been waiting for?

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our 9LCR cats are not routinely tested for FIV and FeLV for various reasons, one being to keep the costs and hence the adoption fee affordable. This decision is based on studies that have found that only about 4% of cats are actually infected. The funds for testing are better utilized for our spay and neuter efforts of owned and community cats in order to save the most cats. However, testing can be performed upon request and need to be covered by the person interested in adopting.
9 Lives Cats have been spayed or neutered and have updated vaccinations. 9 Lives is run entirely on volunteers. Please give us 2-7 days to process your application. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us! Please fill out our application form found here: t.ly/38VV
Adoption fee is $70.00.

More about this rescue

We started 9 Lives Cat Rescue to find homes for cats that are homeless or need to be relocated.
We are a no-kill, non-profit group. Our cats live in foster homes until they are adopted. We spay & neuter every cat before they are adopted.
We fully support our local no-kill feral cat group who practices TNR (Trap, Neuter & Return).
