Meet Sierra! This gorgeous 68-pound girl is turning 2 this December and is full of love and loyalty. Sierra is very protective of her people, which means she needs to be the only pet in her future home. While she enjoys playing with other dogs at the rescue and gets along great in group play, her protective instincts kick in when she’s relaxing with her person. She prefers to keep other animals out of her bubble, but with the right training, this can be worked on.
Sierra adores kids and is a huge fan of water—whether it’s swimming or splashing around! She’s also housebroken, crate-trained, and ready for a loving home. Sadly, she was surrendered by her previous owner, who could no longer care for her. Sierra would thrive with a patient family who understands her loyalty and is willing to help her work through her protective tendencies. Could you be the one for Sierra?

All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.
ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location.
Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. We understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.
