WARREN NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name: Warren    Best Guess for Breed: Hound mix, likely with foxhound

Best Guess for Age:  5 years as of October 2024      Gender: Male

Approximate Weight:   51 lbs

Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested if you have them.

Currently Living At: Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to escape!

Warren is Looking For: His forever home! He ended up in the shelter through no fault of his own but has closed that chapter and is eagerly looking ahead to his new one. The one where he gets All. The. Smells. This boy is in his prime - his sniffer is strong. Lots of long sniffy walks, romps, and all the adventures his humans can dream up - he's up for it all!

Most of all, though, he wants to be safe and loved and under his own roof. Look at those awwww-inducing eyes. Can you see yourself waking up to that face every day for many days to come? Can you see Warren trotting by your side?

What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once he has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with his foster

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!

Go meet their pets

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.
