My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Email for details:
Sasha is available for adoption in a foster home. If you're interested
in adopting, please email us at adoptoceanside@sdhumane.org or stop by the Oceanside campus for more information.

How Sasha arrived:
Meet Sasha, a charming kitty who has a weakness for tuna! This sweet boy can be shy at first, so he's looking for a patient home that will take things slow and let him adjust at his own pace. Once he feels comfortable, we've seen Sasha transform into a loving companion who adores being petted and brushed. If you're ready to earn his trust and shower him with affection, Sasha is waiting to become a cherished member of your family! Be sure to bring a secure cat carrier for a safe ride home. For more details, please reach out to the contact above.

At SDHS:
Sasha has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered and is now ready for his special new home!

Shy/Fearful Cat: Sasha requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them.

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
