Message for details:
Cinder is available for adoption in a foster home. To adopt her, please email us at adoptoceanside@sdhumane.org and provide a good callback number.

How this pet arrived:
Cinder was brought in by her previous owner on October 16, 2024.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Cinder, the adorable feline in search of a serene sanctuary! Once she feels comfortable, she's as sweet as can be and loves attention, pets, and playing with toys! Her favorite toys are wands, balls with bells, and small fuzzy mice.... can a girl really have too many accessories? Even though declawed, she still enjoys a scratching post and a tower or hammock to nap on - when she's not snuggling up with you, of course! While she experienced some litterbox quirks in the past (we suspect stress might be the culprit), Cinder believes that every day is a fresh start - just like her litter! Cinder also requires some dental work in her future. Rest assured, this sweetheart will win your heart - Cinder is a lover! She'll do best in a quiet home where someone is home often to dote on her and give you attention! Cinder always wants to know where her humans are and will guard your door waiting for you to reappear or may chirp to let you know she is looking for you. Are you interested in adopting? Cinder promises to reward you with all the purrs and head bumps you can handle! Contact us today to learn more!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
