Barley is a sweet boy who came to the shelter as a young pup with his mother where he struggled in the noisy environment, and was rescued from the urgent list before his scheduled euthanasia. He is friendly with other animals and humans, but can be shy and may need a slow introduction to adult men. Barley is extremely food motivated, and is working on his penchant for counter surfing but won't take anything off the counter. He is curious and likes to get a sniff! He loves car rides, often attempting to assist with steering. His zoomies are hilarious as he spins around and does flips. His foster mom calls him a velcro baby as he loves to be on you at all times. He has a face you just want to kiss! He loves taking items such as shoes, toys, whatever he can collect to put in his crate for safe keeping. He could benefit from consistent training and is eager to learn. Barley is a young, energetic, people-pleaser. He loves to run, play, walk beside you, sit with you, give kisses, and cuddle. He already knows heal, sit, lay down, and waiting for his food. He takes treats very gently. He likes to be involved in whatever you are doing. He is a good baby boy with a lot of spunk!
