Sylvester was brought in by his previous owner on October 03, 2024.

Meet Sylvester, a gentle and reserved cat who's looking for a patient and loving home to help him feel truly at ease. Though he's a bit shy and prefers to hide when things get overwhelming, Sylvester is a sweet boy who will gradually warm up to the right person. He's not a fan of being held but will snuggle with you in his own time. He has lived with both dogs and cats and does well. Come meet Sylvester at our Escondido campus!

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County.
