My name is GROOT!

Groot is a 130lb. sweetheart! He is a fawn Mastiff mix, 1 1/2 years old. He is such a nice dog! He would like a home with a decent sized yard where he can roam around, as he is very big so naturally needs a larger environment.

He loves to hang out in the pasture, is great on leash, knows basic commands. He is aware of his surroundings and is great at checking in with his handlers. He is a gentle giant! He loves people but can be a little weary of some men.

He is great with other dogs and is very treat motivated. He loves to get pets and love and to hang out with shelter staff and volunteers. He is a huge cuddler! He also has great recall!
Groot is a lot of dog, so we prefer someone who is familiar with the size/breed, and who will be able to give him the proper environment, training, and care he needs and deserves!
