My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPT Sweet Addie.

Was that Speed Racer? No, just the fastest girl on 3 legs east of the Mississippi.

This one-year-old is kid and dog friendly. Addie is the cutest Tri-Pod. Don't let the three legs fool you. She is fast, fast, fast. She will need a family who can match her energy. When settling down, she loves to cuddle next to her humans and chill. She is super friendly, house trained, crate trained and at 28 pounds the perfect size for all kinds of fun. Addie is very smart. She knows "sit" and "inside". Before leaving the house or her crate she gets into her seated position without needing to be told. Her foster mom has never meet a dog who loves a bath and getting brushed as much as Addie does. She makes taking care of her grooming needs a piece of cake. She can still struggle with walks and getting down stairs. Although, the vet said as she gets stronger and adjust to her three legs so will her ability to manage walks and getting down stairs.

More about this rescue

The Mission of One Love Animal Rescue is to rescue homeless animals, nurture them through foster care, and place them in permanent loving homes. We are passionate animal advocates who value the lives of these disadvantaged animals and recognize their enormous potential to be transformed into healthy and happy family pets. One Love promotes responsible pet ownership and encourages others in our community to be kind to all animals, to reduce pet overpopulation, and join us in our mission to improve the outcomes of homeless animals.

We are a 100% volunteer non-profit, so 100% of all donations go directly into supporting our mission. We rescue dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, ages and medical conditions from shelters locally and out-of-state, where chances of adoption are low. We also take in owner-surrenders. All pets are fully vetted - basic and beyond - prior to adoption.
