My name is Duffy!

Duffy had a home once but his person died and no-one in the family wanted him. After a short period of time in a shelter he came to us. He's neutered, healthy, and a great companion.

Duffy is the most gorgeous looking dog, with the best eyes. Try and say no to that face! He's very food motivated and absolutely loves training. We've been working to set him up for success by giving him the training basics and more, and he's learned so quickly!

Duffy needs a slow introduction to new dogs, to know that he's safe, and then will happily coexist with a well balanced dog. He's happy to be the only dog in the home, and enjoys having someone around. An adults only home would suit him best, as he's not used to living with children. Not cat tested as yet.

Duffy walks really well on leash. He can get excitable when another dog is approaching but we've found with guidance (and a few treats) he's easily redirected. A quieter area would be the best start for Duffy, and he'd love his own yard if possible.
Duffy loves people and especially men. We think this is due to his previous person being male. He's quiet in the home.
