Hi, I'm Daffodil, and I bet you were wondering if I'm a bunny rabbit or an airplane with these ears. I assure you I'm 100% dog! My distinctive ears are just ONE of the special things about me.

I think the most important thing for you to know is that all I want in the world is to love and be loved. I love to be carried and to sit on your lap. I love snuggling, especially in bed, if that's allowed at your house! I love company, even if it's just to curl up at your feet, so I'd do best with someone who is home a fair bit of the time.

I'll admit that I was a bit anxious when I arrived, but I am gaining confidence every day in my foster home. I can still be shy with new people, so need a bit of time and patience to come out of my shell. I'm a quick study: I'm curious, smart, and eager to please. I'm also very food motivated so if you want to help me learn, keep the treats coming! I can stay in my crate overnight and for shorter periods during the day and I'm pretty much completely housetrained. I'm not destructive, and if I'm ever into anything you don't want me to be, I'm very easily redirected. I would do fine in a house with another dog or I'd be happy to be a solo dog and get all the attention for myself!

One fun thing about me is that I absolutely LOVE to do zoomies. Usually once a day, I get a huge burst of energy and need to run around the yard as fast as I can go, ears flying! We have an application process. All applications are subject to reference checks, home checks. All adopters are required to sign an adoption contract and must adhere to requirements stated in this contract, and follow ups are done post adoption. Please contact us about adoption fees. Our rescue is solely run by volunteers, we strive to return calls and inquiries within a 24 hour period.
