Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Sasha came to CFP after being hit by a car. Her leg was broken, and her owners surrendered her to the shelter for euthanasia. By the time she got the medical treatment she needed, her leg needed to be amputated. She is not letting her past (or missing leg) get her down though! She is still so full of life and love! Here is how her foster parents rank her pup skills:
Playfulness - 8/10 Energy - 9/10 Goofiness - 6/10 Snuggle buddy - 15/10 Toy lover - 10/10 Cat lover - 7/10 (she wants to play with them so bad!) Dog lover - 8/10 (slow introductions) Small humans - 9/10 (very patient) Being her humans’ shadow - 10/10
She is ready to find her forever family and share all her love and joy!
If you are interested in this animal please start by filling out an adoption application at http://www.CFP-NC.org/adoptions and we will get in touch with you.

Found an animal on our site and want to meet them or find out more about them? Fill out the adoption questionnaire located below and submit to us. Once we have reviewed/approved your application, we will provide you with the foster contact information so that you can find out more and arrange a “meet and greet”. All of our animals are located in foster homes throughout the Triangle area.
When going to a “meet and greet”, please make sure you take any family members and other pets (if at all possible) to observe their interactions. This can make introduction into the new home easier for the animals and for you.
The animal’s foster parent will ultimately make a recommendation to the organization regarding the permanent placement of the animal. Once an adoption decision has been made by both parties, we ask for an adoption fee to help us cover spay/neutering, shots, medical treatment, food and supplies – this amount only partially cover the cost of expenses and allows us to help as many animals as possible!
What if the adoption doesn’t work out? We have a lifetime return policy on our animals as we don’t want to see them turned back into a shelter.
