Callie came to PRBJ when her owner had to move and was unable to take her. He had someone caring for her while he looked for a new place for the two of them. Callie is FIV+ which still means she can live a normal life. He had her for approximately 7 yrs and after months of searching he made the hard decision to surrender her in hopes that she could find a great home with a big window she can look out and sun in.
The home she fostered in had kids and she did great with them. There were dogs, cats and birds. She did not even mind the cockatiel being around and singing. She was never exposed to the dogs because they are so playful with the other cats in the home the foster mom did not want to stress her out. She was fine with meeting the other cats and enjoyed sitting next to the tiny kitten that was being fostered/bottle fed. She was a great kitten sitter.
