Lorna is the other half of our dynamic duo of “problematic faves”! Like her sister Judy, Lorna also came from OC Animal Care after being overlooked for too long. But Lorna lives life her way! She’s independent, spunky, and prefers to be admired from a distance most of the time. Lorna can be handled, but don’t expect her to love it—she’ll tolerate it when necessary but would rather run her own show. She thrives when she has plenty of toys to chew on and room to roam. If you want a low-maintenance hamster with a big personality, Lorna is your girl! She’s ready to live out her golden days in a home where her space and sass are respected. 🖤

Our adoption requirements are (1) cage that meets or exceeds 450 square inches for dwarf hamsters and 600 square inches for Syrian hamsters (2) safe and appropriately sized wheel. Solid running surface; 8" for dwarves, 12" for Syrian hamsters (3) nutritious food. We recommend Mazuri/Higgin's Sunburst

We are Snow White's Rescue Cottage, a rescue for dwarf hamsters located in Camarillo, CA. We pull hamsters from local owners as well as LA County Shelters, and we typically have over 100 hamsters!
