Our little party animal, El Borracho, is the ham with the most chill vibes. He’s the type of hamster who seems to always be enjoying life, taking everything in stride. While he’s still warming up to human interaction, his calm and laid-back nature make him a dream to handle. El Borracho is learning how to trust people one day at a time—so if you’re patient, he’ll soon be your best buddy for cozy, quiet evenings. He’s available for adoption on his own or with his brothers, and would love to find his forever home!

Our adoption requirements are (1) cage that meets or exceeds 450 square inches for dwarf hamsters and 600 square inches for Syrian hamsters (2) safe and appropriately sized wheel. Solid running surface; 8" for dwarves, 12" for Syrian hamsters (3) nutritious food. We recommend Mazuri/Higgin's Sunburst

We are Snow White's Rescue Cottage, a rescue for dwarf hamsters located in Camarillo, CA. We pull hamsters from local owners as well as LA County Shelters, and we typically have over 100 hamsters!
