My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Jasper, a big, lovable boy with a heart full of sunshine. They call me a "golden oldie" at eight years young, but I still have plenty of pep in my step! I may have just barely escaped the shelter right before my scheduled euthanasia, but I haven't let it get me down. I'm now relaxing in the care of SNARL while i wait for my much needed hip surgery and a forever family.

I'm always ready with a wagging tail and a happy face. I'm a big guy, weighing in around 62lbs, but don't let that fool you - I'm a total lapdog! I love walks, belly rubs, and all sorts of yummy treats. Plus, I'm already house-trained and know basic commands, so I'll be ready to settle right into your home.

Are you looking for a loyal and cheerful companion to fill your days with love and laughter? Look no further than Jasper! I promise I'll be the best furry friend you could ever ask for.

Ohh, and as a bonus, I'm fantastic with other dogs and kids! So I'll make a wonderful family pet.

More about this rescue

Southern Nevada Animal Rescue League (SNARL) exists to provide a better life for adoptable homeless, abandoned, or abused animals. We aim to assist in the effort of limiting the overpopulation of these animals as well as educate the public against breed or size discrimination. There is no such thing as a “bad breed”, only bad humans. Our mission is to make sure all of the animals we rescue are placed in loving, safe, and viable fur-ever homes.
