My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jasmine can be a bit cautious about new things, but give her a moment or two and she's ready jump into adventure! She's definitely a diamond in the "ruff"; Jasmine is a love bug and would be great in any active family!

She is fully potty trained with a dog door. She is crate trained but has only been crated along with her sisters, never alone so that will be an adjustment. She rides well in the car, gets along with people and other dogs she has met. She plays well with others, being gracious and gentle with the resident small dogs in her foster family. She's not yet met a cat yet so we're not sure but we think she'd be OK with a proper introduction.

If you're looking for your own bug to love, reach out about Jasmine! She's ready to continue her training in a loving family today. Jasmine is being fostered in Flagstaff and you can contact Melody at 520-403-4816 to setup a meet & greet with this sweet girl.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

If you are interested in one of our animals, please fill out an adoption application, located on our web site here: http://tubacityhumanesociety.org/adoptions/ . There is more information about our adoption process, including our adoption fees, on that page. In general, fill out an adoption application, and then photo or scan it to our email at tubacityhumane@gmail.com, and that enables us to start a conversation with you. From there, the foster would usually set up a meet and greet with the animal you are interested in. We like all family members to meet the animal, and any other pets as well. We do require a home check. Adoption fees do not cover our veterinary cost, but do help us to continue our work. All animals are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Most animals are also microchipped.

Go meet their pets

Arrangements can usually be made to meet most of our adoptable animals in Flagstaff. The process starts by filling out an application and returning it to to us through email. Some animals are fostered in Tuba City or other locations. We do attend some adoption events in Flagstaff.

More about this rescue

We are a small rescue/foster group located in Tuba City, AZ, on the western Navajo Nation. We do not have a facility. We have two main programs: rescue of homeless animals in need, and a low-cost spay/neuter program for the public. We rely on donations to continue our work.
