What is Rehome?

Ricky is a great dog and excellent friend for the last 8 years. Other than the stereotypical distaste with mail carriers, he is quite peaceful. Ricky is incredibly independent. He enjoys large spaces to roam expect him to cuddle. But he will ALWAYS tell you if he needs something :) as you may have expected, Ricky is quite anxious because of his breed. He;s very intelligent and I;ve always felt safe with him and although he may not prefer to be on leash, he is leash-trained; he just wants you to be sure you know he;s on alert! Ha!
Ricky has been with me for nearly 9 years when I rescued him from a woman who found his pregnant mother in rural Nevada. This does make him distrusting at first, but he comes around. He warmed up to my husband in just a few weeks and my baby in just a few days.
It is with a heavy heart that I express it;s now time for Ricky and I to part ways. I want him to be in a home that is loving and calming and I;m afraid I can no longer provide that environment for him
