My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Montana. I'm done raising my kittens and missed my sister Nevada, so Bitty Kitty made it possible for me and her to reunite. My foster mom says I am a really sweet kitty, but need some groceries put on because the kittens took a lot out of me! So, I am chilling in the kitten room of her house and eating lots of good food and living the life. My favorite is wet food. Can't get enough of that stuff!

I like attention and pets, but it might take me a bit to warm up to lap cuddles. I love having my sister, Nevada, back with me, I missed her. She's a tortoiseshell like me. But you can definitely tell us apart. Foster mom says I am the tall, graceful one with the pointed nose.

My foster mom has a dog, but I'm not a fan! I know she just wants to be my friend but I'm not really interested in being friends with dogs. I'm curious about my foster home's resident cats, and I think we could be friends with some time.

Come and visit my sister and I and see if we could possibly bring some tortie color into your life!

Additional adoption info

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!

By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.

All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:

FeLV/FIV tested
spayed/neutered
treated for external and internal parasites
microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated

Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply to an adoption inquiry.

More about this rescue

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas.

Our mission is:
To provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. Once weaned, the kittens are either transferred to one of our partner no-kill organizations or transferred to another caregiver within our organization where they will be cared for until adoption age.
