My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Missy was found as a stray 13yrs ago. She is shy, at first, then warms up. She has been an indoor/outdoor cat for the last 5 years. In the Summer you will find her in the sun, and the Winter she loves to lay by the fireplace or near the heater.

We have a dog that she tolerates, but not crazy about unfamiliar dogs or cats, hasn't been around kids. She is also happy to sit on your lap for scratches. We hate to let her go, we are Seniors ourselves and our living situation is changing. We have always lived where Missy had room to roam the yard away from any traffic, that is changing. She has not been around cars coming and going, so not "street smart." Indoor - Outdoor depending on weather. $40 rehoming fee. Missy lives with her owner in Grants Pass, OR.

Additional adoption info

Adoptable cats and kittens are shown on our website with detailed profiles and pictures. To help our potential adopters learn more about the cat(s), we encourage them to first contact and discuss with the foster family if it might be a good fit. Potential adopters must submit an adoption application for review and evaluation.

We require that adopted cats be mainly indoor cats and no declawing is allowed. Adopters must be over 21 years old and sign a contract that lists out his/her responsibility as the cat's owner.
