My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Nami showed up hungry and needy in the yard of a Montreal family who took her under their wing while they found her a foster home. That's how Nami arrived at her Animal Rescue Network foster home in August 2024. Nami is a little cat who loves playing with her fishing rod, purring loudly in her foster mom's arms and snuggling up for naps. Nami is a princess who prefers a very large litter box without a roof, and she loves pâté. She is very food-motivated and this will be very useful to her new family as they continue their training to stop chewing. Nami is very baby-like and has a tendency to chew on fingers or toes when overexcited or to get our attention. Nami will be happy in a family with no other animals because she is very reactive to the sight of them and doesn't hesitate to attack them despite her small size. Even if she doesn't like other animals, she's very fond of people and talks a lot. Nami is a kitten so the adoption fees for her are $340. She is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia (FeLV). You will also be provided with health insurances for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the support of the adoption team for as long as you need it. You will also have access to a free 30 minutes video consultation during the first month following the adoption with our cat behaviour consultant FelineGood ( https://www.felinegood.ca ).

In order to get a chance to adopt her, please fill out our adoption directly on our website:  https://www.reseausecoursanimal.org/contacts/adoption-form/

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All new adoption homes are carefully screened to determine if they are suitable. There is an adoption fee that includes the sterilization, initial vaccination of every animal, testing for FIV and FeLV of all cats at the shelter, and a 21 days trial period. A contract is always signed between the ARN and the adopter for their protection. A follow-up by an ARN adoption coordinator is often done either by telephone or by visit, and we also offer help/cousel for the life of the cat.
