Meet Chromia! This beautiful Siberian Husky is looking for his new home. This handsome man has been at our shelter for a couple of weeks and already he is impressing everyone! When it comes to making new friends Chromia seems to be a social butterfly! He has been around multiple new dogs, both male and female without any issues. He loves going for long walks and is a work in progress in regards to leash manners. Chromia can be your perfect personal trainer and you can be his trainer, Win win! You can drop by and say hello to Chromia Tuesday through Sunday between 10 am and 4:30 pm - no appointment necessary! She will be waiting to meet you with open paws! ¡Conoce a Cromia! Este hermoso Husky Siberiano busca su nuevo hogar. ¡Este hombre guapo lleva un par de semanas en nuestro refugio y ya está impresionando a todos! ¡Cuando se trata de hacer nuevos amigos, Chromia parece ser una mariposa social! Ha estado con varios perros nuevos, tanto machos como hembras, sin ningún problema. Le encanta dar largos paseos y es un trabajo en progreso en lo que respecta a los modales con la correa. We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
