Meet Syrup! Syrup always pairs better with Waffles. Make sure to check out my brother Waffles, too! We would love to be adopted together. I am just a kitten that was found as a feral on the streets of Harrisburg with my brother. We were neutered by Operation Catnip and supposed to be claimed, but our owners fell on hard times and weren't able to accept us. So, we went with a nice woman for a ride to the Petco in Harrisburg to make our debuts into the world! We love to play but also enjoy taking nice naps snuggled up. We are bonded, we cannot be apart. For months we lived alone on the streets of Harrisburg, and so we rely on each other heavily.

We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. All of our animals are in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting them. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
