Rook is a male Great Dane (black). He is roughly 1.5 years old (DOB: 30 May 2023). He is an XL dog coming in at around 135 lbs. He is still in his "teenage" stage and can be a little oblivious to social dog cues; he doesn't realize many dogs are intimated by his size. We take him out often to be safely socialized with other dogs, and hope his future family will too. He is very lovable and will likely be glued to your side at all times regardless of what you're doing. Rook would never hurt a bug and he loves to play wrestling with his older "sister" Ash. Since he is still young, he has a little bit of energy, and walking him for 30 minutes to 1 hour a day will be ideal. However, he will gladly cuddle up next to you every chance he gets. He is also crate-trained. We've never had to leave him home alone, but he can get whiney if Ash is not around. He is also due to be neutered.
We are hoping that Ash and Rook can be rehomed together since Ash basically raised him from puppyhood.
