Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Nunu🩵
Nunu was rescued from an illegal dog slaughterhouse that had been operating for 14 years. He stood out due to his wolf-like appearance and strikingly handsome facial features, reminiscent of the famous actor Cha Eun-woo, which is how he got his name. Now, he is being cared for in a warm home by a compassionate foster.
* Interaction with People: Nunu is outgoing and gets along well with people. Although he growls and shows caution towards strangers, if you wait for him to open his heart, he shows his affection. You should approach him slowly because he is afraid of big movements.
* Interaction with Dogs: He greets new dogs calmly, and plays well with close friends. He quietly avoids dogs that are bigger than him or dogs that growl. Although he has gotten better with training, he has previously gotten into fights over food so caution is needed.
* Interaction with Cats: He's scared of cats, but he's curious, so he sticks his head out as far as he can and sniffs! If you say “Let's go!” he comes right back.
* Separation Anxiety: Nunu manages well alone, mainly when given snacks and nose work activities during his guardian's absence.
* Potty Training: He primarily does his potty outdoors and is trained to use synthetic grass indoors. He sometimes has pee accidents when he is in a scary or surprising situation.
* Hygiene: Although bath time and teeth brushing can be stressful, he remains manageable with gentle coaxing. He patiently waits while you clean his paws after walks. He does well getting his nails trimmed at the groomer’s, but he needs some time to get used to it at home.
💌Special Notes💌
* Nunu is brilliant, knowing commands like "sit, wait, lie down, roll over, eat, V, give paw, touch nose, bang, back up, here, house, crawl, drop.”
* He occasionally whines for attention but stops quickly when instructed "no."
*He prefers to be alone when resting; he may bite if people or dogs approach him because he becomes sensitive when he’s tired so caution is needed.
