My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lucas, the ultimate sweetheart with a curious spirit! This boy absolutely adores being around people but handles his alone time like a champ. He's not shy about letting you know when it's time for a potty break, with his signature whimper or howl-so he's great at keeping communication clear! While he's still mastering the art of holding it for long stretches, Lucas will thrive with a solid routine to help him get there.

Lucas is always on the lookout for action! Every time he steps out of his room, he's on a mission to check out his surroundings, just in case there's a stray treat or a new adventure waiting for him. His love language? Back and butt scratches, plus those adorable nose kisses that make him melt!

Outdoor time is a must for this guy, but don't expect him to wander too far if he's solo. Lucas prefers to have a buddy by his side while he enjoys the fresh air. If left alone, he'll patiently wait by the door, ready to come inside and explore his favorite spots again.

With his playful curiosity, love for attention, and gentle personality, Lucas is the perfect companion for someone who enjoys both snuggles and a little outdoor fun. He's ready to find his forever home-are you ready to meet your new best friend?

Adopting from HEA

FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS:
Adoption is a huge deal to us. We make a lifetime guarantee to our companions. In return, we’re asking you to provide a lifetime commitment once you’ve invited a pet to join your family. We’re excited that you're considering adoption. We look forward to working with you to find the right match!

TIMELINE:
Our primary objective is to assure the correct match for the people and the pets that we’re sending to their forever homes. Our goal is to send dogs and cats home as quickly as we can, while still being thorough. Processing times will vary and are largely dependent on our ability to connect with your references, landlord, and veterinarian. To keep the process moving along, please make sure you’ve done your part:
1) Fill out your application completely - missing information slows down the process.
2) Let your references know to expect our call.
3) If you rent, let your landlord know to expect our call.
4) If you currently have pets, ask your veterinarian to be prepared to release your records.

LIFETIME GUARANTEE:
We make a pact with every animal that enters our care: They’re promised a loving home for the rest of their life. In turn, when you make the commitment to adopt, we ask you to make a lifetime commitment. We believe family is forever.
