Hi, I'm Mavis! I'm always on the lookout for fun! I'm a super cute, 4 years young girl who loves to paly, get treats, and cuddle! I'm learning lots of fun things like basic commands, its especially fun when treats are involved. I love to cuddle with my foster family or lounge in a comfy doggy bed when I get sleepy. I do great with other dogs, and would love another doggy playmate to play with. I am not very curious about cats, I've learned to leave them alone. I love all people but can be a little barky when I see people or other dogs outside. My foster family has older kids that I love to play with, and I did well when meeting a 5 year old.
I'm still young and will needs lots of love, patience, and training. Remember- nobody is perfect, and I hear that Last Hope offers free training and socialization opportunities. My foster mommy says the right family would be lucky to have me join them because I'm such a good girl with lots of love for you!
The adoption fee for Mavis is $250 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives, plus a free basic training course at Cedar Run #2 in Hiawatha. Last Hope requires all animals be kept as indoor only pets and that adopters have a history of keeping their pets altered and current on vaccines and prevention. Our adoption process includes background and reference checks, a vet history check, and a home visit. If you would like to meet or adopt Mavis, please fill out an adoption application for consideration on our website, Adopthope.org
