My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WEIGHT: 52lbs

Meet Westley— He’s big and lankly and still growing—both emotionally and physically. At around 1-year old, Westley still has some maturing to do. During his behavioral evaluation he exhibited some resource guarding signals and wasn’t super enthused about meeting other dogs, so he is looking for a very dog-savvy adopter who is prepared to engage in regular and consistent positive reinforcement training. He has also shown a bit of a prey-drive on walks, so a home without small animals is best. Because of his potential to resource guard, a home without small children is preferable at this time. Westley has heaps of potential, he is just looking for the perfect adopter to go the distance with him! If you’d like to meet him, feel free to call our adoptions desk or stop by during Browsing Hours: Wed-Sun 11-5.
