My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jasper nearly escaped euthanasia at our local overcrowded shelter. Since coming to rescue he has shown us just how grateful he is!
Jasper is around 5 years old and believed to be an English Labrador Retriever mix. He is a large boy who could stand to lose a few pounds. Typical of the breed he does struggle with hip dysplasia but is on joint supplements daily and we expect it to improve tremendously once he loses some weight.
But he is still a very active boy! He loves to chase a tennis ball and run around the backyard. He is a true Labrador!
When inside Jasper is very well behaved and low energy. He has amazing house manners.
Jasper is good with other dogs although he can be a bit intimidating to some at first. He has lived with dogs of all sizes and coexists nicely. But absolutely no cats for him due to his strong prey drive!
