I will simply start out by saying Belle is a treasure on this earth! This big girl is pure love and is going to become someone’s “heart dog”. If you don’t know what a heart dog is, it’s that very special dog which you have an amazing connection with that only comes around once in a lifetime (if you’re lucky). She lives for lovin’ and just wants to be by your side and make you proud. Despite Belle being found as a stray puppy in Arkansas, she is incredibly well adjusted and loves everyone and everything she meets. Our best guess is that Belle is around 7 months old and is a Hound/Great Pyrenees mix. Even though she’s still a puppy she is incredibly gentle and mellow. She will fit in well in almost any home. She would do great with another dog(s), kids (that are well behaved around dogs), and possibly cats (I haven’t seen her interact with one I think she would be good with them if introduced slowly). She is food motivated so will train easily with some tasty treats. She is doing great with potty training. We’ve had no accidents in the house but I’m diligent about taking her out and making sure she is rewarded with treats or praise when she goes. Belle isn’t real sure what she thinks of the crate. She will sleep in her carte at night but gets pretty sad when left in her crate during the day when errands have to be run. I’m not sure this will be a problem though. With proper puppy proofing, some good exercise beforehand, and her mellow demeanor, Belle could be left out of the crate for a reasonable amount of time.
In short, Belle is one in a million (I’m serious!)! This girl is all legs and all love! She will melt your heart and make an amazing addition to any home. And did I mention, she gives the best hugs!
