Leai (who we call Sissy in her foster home) is a big dog, with a big personality, in a tiny body! She is sweet, spunky, adorable, loving, cuddly… and it all comes in the perfect little package. Sissy loves all people and all dogs. She’d most likely do well with cats too if she was introduced slowly. Right now I think most cats would be bigger than she is, lol! She is food motivated and will train well with tasty treats. She’s doing great with potty training. We’ve had no accidents in the house but I’m diligent about taking her out and making sure she is rewarded with treats or praise when she goes. Crate training needs to be continued slowly. Right now we’re up to one hour in the crate and that was with some serious exercise beforehand and a tasty, long-lasting treat to keep her busy. She would do best in a home where someone is around most of the day, at least during the puppy period, as she probably can’t be trusted out of the crate on her own for a little while at least. However, she sleeps in her crate through the night. I’m not sure how she is with young children as she hasn’t met one yet. Also keep in mind those sharp little puppy teeth. She did well with my friend’s 12-year-old.
In short, she’ll be the perfect dog for someone who’s looking for a big dog attitude in a little dog’s body. My favorite thing about Sissy is she loves to cuddle. She’s always down for some tv couch time ! Put in an application at EAPL.com Her adoption fee is $375
