Hi there, I'm Snap,
I'm an active girl who likes to run and play and stay busy. I’ve had a little trouble adjusting to Sheltering Hands since I was surrendered. But everyone has been very nice. Normally I'm a very friendly girl. If you rub my head, I will lean right into your hand and move my head in your hand so you can pet all the good places.

We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, comprised mainly of volunteers that is dedicated to Improving the lives of cats through humane care, spay/neuter programs, adoptions, education and support services.

We offer several adoption programs including:

Traditional program - all ages

Love for a LifeTime Program - cats 8+ years/humans 75+ years; medical covered through our Clinic (conditions apply) for lifetime of the cat. Contact us for details.

Feel the Love Program - cats FeLV+; medical covered through our Clinic (conditions apply) for the lifetime of the cat. Contact us for details.

Take a Chance on Me Program - overlooked cats due to medical/behavioral concerns; 3-month foster commitment with direct support by our staff
