My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello world! I`m Brownie. I`m just a little kitten but I`ve got a big personality. I love exploring my surroundings, always on the lookout for new toys and fun adventures. My goofy antics will have you laughing in no time, and my acrobatic skills are sure to impress. I`m also quite the cuddler, always ready for a good snuggle after a long day of play. I`m energetic and playful, but also sweet and friendly. I promise to keep you entertained with my funny ways and endless curiosity. Adopting me means endless joy and laughter, as well as a loyal and loving companion. I can`t wait to meet you!

I am fixed, up to date on my vaccines, microchipped and ready to go home with you. Please call the Humane Society at (928) 282-4679 to schedule an appointment to meet me!

More about this shelter

Our Vision - Be Our Heart & Voice
Building a caring community where every adoptable and treatable pet finds a life-long loving home.

Our Mission
The Humane Society of Sedona is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of pets in our community and beyond. The Society has served the Verde Valley since 1966.

The Linda and Allan Brecher Center for Animals at the society is designed to allow every person, who desires the love of a pet, to adopt and provide a forever loving home. The Center provides quality care and positive reinforcement behavior training for adoptable pets. Passionate volunteers help walk and socialize the pets in our care. Foster pet parents are an important part of caring for pets outside the Center.

The Society provides vital services for pets and people alike through income-based affordable spay/neuter surgeries and vaccination clinics. Also, for families in need to feed their pets, we have a Pet Food Program.

Another public resource is our adult and youth educational programs.

The Society relies on community support, contributions, grants, bequests, investments, proceeds from the Society’s thrift stores and some fees for service in order to save pets’ lives.
