My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Prieta is a sweet middle-aged gal who ended up at PACC after living in one home for five years. As you can imagine, that must have been pretty confusing for her, but this girl has shown herself to be incredibly resilient and she has adapted well, looking forward to her walks with volunteer friends and yard time with her kennelmates. But, she is surely dreaming of having a family of her own again.

While her former owner surrendered Prieta when the household dynamics changed and they could no longer care for her, they had many good things to share!

“Prieta is an amazing dog. I truly hope she finds someone that will spoil her!”

We hope so too! Could that be you? Prieta is reportedly house and crate trained and is an affectionate pup who loves toys and car rides, is playful, and loves to stick close to her humans.

One of Prieta’s volunteer friends said “Prieta is a sweet little lady. She is easy to handle, she doesn`t pull on her leash and she is non-reactive to other dogs she sees. She loves treats and takes them softly.”

Wow, a sweet, gorgeous pup who is a nice walker with a gentle mouth, and so many great
house-skills? Someone snatch this girl up!

Prieta currently shares her kennel with two other dogs here at the shelter and would like to meet any future furry roommates to ensure a good fit. Are you looking to give a deserving dog a fresh start? Then look no further and come meet Prieta today!
