My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🌟Huntress🎀 is an amazing girl who is simply stunning😍. She was found fending for herself near the Highway on 411S. Huntress is on the smaller side of a medium-sized dog. She is playful, loving, charming, and extremely dog-friendly. She has had two Kennel mates who have been adopted and left her behind. Let's get this truly unique girl HOME🏠.

🌟Huntress is 1 year old and is 37 lbs. She is a great girl who loves everyone and wants to be part of a family. Huntress is eligible for a foster home or adoption!!

More about this shelter

A not-for-profit organization, Monroe County Friends of Animals help the County by raising funds to build a new facility for our animals. It is called the Eastbourne Animal Center and has now replaced the old Monroe County Animal Shelter. They provide volunteers, fundraising events, grant writing and more. There is always a need for more volunteers. With a small budget, donations are a welcome necessity. We have developed educational programs to promote spay/neuter and humane care of all animals.
