Koda is a 1yr pure bred Labrador Retriever (AKC breeder) and is absolutely over the top friendly, he is not aggressive at all. He's only been around my nieces and nephew, ages 2-14, and because of his energetic and reactive nature, children tend to not approach. He loves everybody and everything! He always plays well with dogs at parks and he loves his older cat brother (but can annoy him a lot when he wants to play, very sassy).
Koda's behavior isn't "bad." We paid over $1000 in training and it's helped us be more patient with him. But we've realized it's actually taught him "selective listening." We have tried many different ways to get him mentally stimulated and exhaust his energy, but we believe he may need another doggo or a more experienced dog owner.
With it being a year since training and soon moving for military orders, we know it best to find a family who can give him what he deserves and needs. Will you help us make Koda the smart and respectful boy we know him to be?
