Hi, my name is Bloom! I’m a sweet, gentle, mini-panther looking for my forever family after a rough start in life. I’m not sure where exactly I came from, but someone dropped me off at one of the rescue leaders’ houses, and that’s where my story started to get a lot better!
I was a bit shy at first but I quickly let everyone know that I really like getting pets, and I LOVE to play! I love wand toys, and I am completely enamored with my 3 level ball track toy. Especially at night, I get super zoomies and I love to stalk it and pounce on it from all angles….. I’ve got some sweet jumps that I’d love to show you!
I really love my faux fur fluffy bed, especially now that the weather is cooler - I love snuggling down into it for a cozy nap! I have been very interested in the other cats around me, and I do need a home with a kitty friend that can play with me, as well as humans who will give me lots of interactive playtime (soooo fun)! I’m not sure how I feel about dogs or kids. Because I can still be a bit nervous at times, I think I’ll do best in a calm, quiet home with older or no kids.
I love all kinds of food; right now I’m eating Fancy Feast kitten wet food and Iams dry kitten food. I’m pretty partial to the wet food and I get really excited at mealtime! I definitely LOVE to be pet, and I am getting used to being picked up and snuggled. So far, I seem to like it pretty well, as long as I can decide when I’m ready to get down. I hope you’ll come meet me soon and see my super cool jump skills!

We have an adoption application to learn a bit about the home our cats will be going to and the family's motivation for adoption and expectations about pet ownership. We also have an adoption contract, which includes a no declawing and indoor-only clause along with a vet promissory note that ensures you will continue with the medical care and spay/neuter if needed.
We DO NOT do any out of state adoptions except on the NC border on a case-by-case basis.
We require a donation of $120 for adoption of unaltered kittens with a PTV Contract. All kittens receive vaccine series and wormings as well as medical treatment as needed. The adopter is responsible for obtaining their rabies vaccine and spay/neuter if the kitten is not of age at the time of adoption. We can provide resources for low cost clinics that offer these services.
We ask a donation of $25 to adopt Career/barn cats.
We require a donation of at least $140 for adoption of Spayed/neutered cat.
Bonded pairs adoption donation is $200.
Sometimes we require rental checks or home inspections. We always have a Meet n Greet to make sure everyone gets along. We encourage bringing the whole family!

Our heart is in TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return of ferals), where cats are fixed, vaccinated, ear tipped, and allowed to live out their lives without reproducing. We are advocates for advancing legal and social acceptance of TNR in Hampton Roads. Our unique feral kitten socialization program has a 90% success rate in socializing feral-born kittens to become loving, in-home pets.
