🐕With People & Dogs🚶
Ladies and gentlemen! I am Dami, a mixed breed weighing 24 kg. I was born in 2021 (I think?!), used to live in a shelter, once on the euthanasia list, but luckily got rescued. I am now living with my foster pawrents, looking for my forever home and family! Did you know that I am such a social butterfly? I get along with all hoomans (whether I know them or not), allow them to pet and touch me (again, whether I know them or not), show my belly (you know that that means!), and let hoomans to hug and lift me up high. Kids? Never had any chance to play with them so I cannot exactly tell you how I would react when I meet them! Not only hoomans, but I also play well with my own kind! I can approach, politely say hello, and play with them easily! No problemooooo!💗💗💗

🔋Walks & Potty Break💩
I am an active boy that truly enjoys outdoor adventures🌻! For me to stay nice and calm indoor, you would need to take me out for long walks and spend lots of time outside with me outside. If I get sufficient amount of my daily exercise, I will stay and relax quietly at home. During my walk, you will notice that I would stop and start sniffing quite often. This is my way to burn tons of mental energy (for my mental 🧠health!) besides my physical exercise from walking. I might pull on the leash but still will be under your guidance. While I walk, I like to do my business💩, but I can also take my potty break inside as well. So, whether you live in a high-rise or low-rise, I can get myself adjusted accordingly. Oh, although it may not really happen that often, when I visit new places, I might start marking. So in case you are visiting someone else’s home with me, please be prepared!

🤫Not a Barker🔇
I am not really a barker and here are some good examples. One day, I was approaching a cat🐱and got little bit curious (again, I am a social butterfly). I would normally just take a glance and follow my hooman’s guidance but for some reason, I got little bit curious and wanted to say hi. So I approached (and I swear I approached very carefully and gently) and the cat punched my face☹ 😢. Uh… I still do not know why but I did not take it personally. Similar thing happened to me at the shelter when another dude bit me for no reason☹ 😂. Again, I have no idea why… I did not fight back or barked… I was just standing there, wondering what happened☹ 😂. I also do not bark at anyone even if they approach me when I am eating? Whether they are hoomans or my friends, I do not bark at them. There is just no reason to 😂.

😵Special Needs😱
Although I am a good boy, that does not mean I am good at everything. There are still things that I need to improve! First, I am not crate-trained. Oh, my goodness, I feel so uncomfortable inside😵😵😵! When you put me inside my crate, you will hear me whimpering like a poor little puppy…… ☹ I would also need your help if you ever want to take me out for a ride 🚗. I get so scared getting inside a car. So, I need you to lift me up to get in and hold me during the ride.

More about this rescue

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
