My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Just over 2 months ago, our rescue received a call from a vet's office who had a very sick, bleeding, beat up dog that was clearly used as a bate dog. A very nice couple had seen her wandering in their neighborhood and took her right to the emergency vet. Her wounds were so severe and the vet didn't think she was going to make it. We asked them not to give up and to do whatever they needed to do to give his girl a chance in life.

Well, take a look at beautiful girl Lacey now! After many days of wound care, medication and tons of love, this very sweet girl made it! Lacey is ready for her forever home now - a home and a family that will love her so she never has to think about where she came from.

Even after all she has been through, Lacey is the sweetest girl! She's on the small size - just under 40 pounds and is approximately 2 years old. She has many scars on her now but that makes her all the more beautiful to us! She absolutely loves to cuddle and is so happy just being around her loving foster now. Understandable, she is scared of other dogs so Lacey will do best in a home where she's the only pup and gets all the attention she deserves.

If you would like to hear more about this beautiful girl, please be sure to include your phone number when you inquire so we can tell you more about her and plan a time for you to meet her. Inquiries in the Tampa Bay area please.
