Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cerra is a very sweet 8-and-a-half-year-old Chihuahua. She was surrendered after her owner passed away. Cerra is very confused and doesn't know why she is in a loud shelter all of a sudden. She is mostly house-trained and is up to date on all of her vaccines. Cerra will need lots of walks as she is a little overweight. She is around 24 pounds currently.

Mission Statement:

The Pittsylvania Pet Center is committed to protecting the health, safety and well-being of all companion animals by working with Animal Control Officers in the enforcement of state and local laws, reducing the number of stray and homeless animals, and providing the best care possible for every animal that comes through our doors.
We will shelter and care for homeless, abandoned, and lost animals, work to keep and place animals in safe, loving homes, and provide education and resources to pet owners to enhance their lives and the lives of their companion animals.

We will strive to be the voice for the animals in our community and ensure that they are properly cared for. We believe that collaboration is key in animal welfare.
