Who doesn't love Pecan? Pecan pie, cinnamon sugar pecan, candied pecan, puppy dog named Pecan... Please say hello to Pecan! He is a one--year-old Border Collie, who weighs 39 pounds. This sweetie [Pecan] pie is super social, adores people, and will excitedly say hi to anyone with his tail wagging. Pecan loves the outdoors and is ready to run and play whenever. This fun-loving cutie loves to be on the go, but he also loves to snuggle. Will you be the family he's dreaming of, who will play and snuggle with him?

The best way to meet our pups is via private meetings or at adoption events. We host these weekly at various locations around NYC.

Our adoption fee ranges from $275-$550 and covers the costs of vetting, boarding, transportation, and other necessary items for our dogs.

Hearts & Bones Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based rescue with dual bases in New York City, NY and Dallas, TX. We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.
