Introducing the best dog ever - Bubba! Why is he the best you ask? Bubba will be happy to tell you. He is smart! He knows sit, leave it, take it, and kennel. He is good with other dogs and gentle with treats. As a distinguished gentleman, he knows better than to jump up on you for attention, he will patiently wait at your feet until you are ready to pet him. He has the cutest little legs and a cute short tail that will wag his whole body when he gets excited to see you or his dog friends. Bubba will not need much training if any when he finds his new home, and his easy going personality would be a great fit for any home. Come on over and grab this guy today - you won`t regret it!

HSSM is home to over 300 pets on any given day, most of which are looking for new forever homes! Your new best friend could be waiting at HSSM right now. Our beautiful, 41,000 square foot facility is currently open to the public. HSSM is open for adoptions Tuesday – Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. No appointment is necessary to adopt, however, adoptions are first-come, first served. You must come to HSSM to complete your adoption and make sure you bring a photo ID, as it is required to complete adoption paperwork.
Our adoptable animals page is self-updating and displays ALL of HSSM’s adorable adoptable pets from “pocket pets” to birds and of course the hundreds of dogs and cats currently calling HSSM home! See one you like? Make sure you note your favorite’s name and animal ID number so that HSSM staff and volunteers can easily find him/her when you come in!
Adoptions are cut off every day about 30 minutes prior to closing and possibly earlier if volume is high. Weekends are busy and you may have to wait more than an hour (especially in the afternoons) so please be prepared.
