My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin (SCP for short) is as sweet as her name.

This girl has a ton of love to give. She loves receiving a good head massage and gives licks in return. She is a very quiet calm dog.

Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin is working on not pulling on the lead when out for a walk and she is not very confident with stairs yet. More than a few and she needs to be carried! She is trying hard to learn some basic commands and what a toy actually is. As she has not been spayed she can be a bit frisky towards certain people.

SCP is very calm in the bath and waits by the door to tell you she needs to go outside for the toilet. She sleeps well all night in a crate and loves to pick a spot and have a sleep in the sun during the day. She has a hearty appetite and loves a treat especially dried liver or chicken fillets!

With a small amount of training she would make a perfect very loving family pet.

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States
