My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Baby Bear! This sweet, smart pup is a quick learner with a heart full of love. In just moments, she mastered walking on a leash and has proven to be incredibly obedient, always following instructions with ease. Baby Bear gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is fantastic with children, making her the perfect family companion. She’s a quiet girl who only barks when she feels unsure, showing her gentle nature. Baby Bear loves her meals twice a day and is very food-motivated, making training sessions both fun and productive! She’s happiest when she's being showered with love and attention from her humans.

Baby Bear is the perfect blend of gentle sweetness and curiosity! She has a warm and affectionate personality, always eager to be close to people and soak up every bit of love and attention. Her naturally calm demeanor makes her easygoing and adaptable, but she’s also full of playful energy when it’s time for a walk or some outdoor fun. Baby Bear’s intelligence shines through her quick learning; she loves being challenged with new commands and responds eagerly, especially when there’s a treat involved! She’s very respectful around other dogs, friendly with children, and always approaches new situations with curiosity and calm confidence. Her loyalty and gentle spirit make her an ideal companion, ready to bring joy to any family.

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States
