My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the sweetest girl you'll ever know, Goose! Goose is an adorable pup who loves to cuddle and chew on toys quietly. Goose is missing half of her right ear for a reason unknown, but it doesn't bother her or slow her down! During the day, you can either find her cuddled up against you or sitting quietly in her bed chewing a toy (pictures of both included). On walks, she is great on the leash and loves meeting new friends (both humans and pets, who she will lay down next to and let them sniff her before she plays). She is still a little skittish with loud trucks or cars, which will cause her to stick very close by to you until they pass. She is quiet and can be independent if you need her to be, the perfect WFH buddy. But when you're able to give her some attention, her personality shines and she makes sure you know how happy you're making her with kisses and snuggles. She is learning to trust the world quickly, but needs a little extra love and encouragement as she does so. She is truly the sweetest thing and will be a bright spot in any family :)

My foster dog is good with: Dogs and kids, cats unknown
My foster dog is: House trained as long as you take her out often, but working on being fully and learning quickly
Keywords for your pup: Snuggly, resilient, quick-learner, adaptable, sweet, perfect!!!
Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 4 (Relatively low for a puppy)
Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: Quiet! Barks only when she gets nervous
Walking Manners: Polite, good on leash, nervous around loud car noises
Appetite: Hungry!! Loves treats and peanut butter kongs
Does the following: Nervous outside around loud noises, great in the car, a bit of separation anxiety as she learns to trust the world again
Favorite Things: Peanut butter kong, her bat stuffed animal, soft blankets

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States
