My story

Hey there, my name is Sparky! I was hand selected for K9's For Warriors service dog program from Thomasville humane society and passed all my initial tests with flying colors! Since arriving at K9's in July of this year, I've decided I would rather be a family companion over having to work for a living, due to being uncomfortable with new people. I am a loyal, intelligent, sweet and playful boy looking for someone patient with some experience to help me through my fears.
I bond extremely strong with my person and am very loyal. I would thrive in a quieter, structured home where I can be myself. I love toys, but sometimes I get too carried away and do the best with harder ones. I have made some dog friends and do better with a confident dog that won’t let me take control. Did I mention how smart I am? House training should be a breeze with me! I am crate trained, neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and eagerly waiting for my forever home.
