My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Carmella, an outgoing little orange kitten who has never met a stranger whose lap I wouldn't happily sit on! I love riding around on shoulders, where I can enjoy the world from up high. Talking is one of my favorite things to do, and I always chat with whoever is around! My brother Ray-Ray (yes...I know he has a silly name) and I have a blast playing together, chasing each other around, and having all kinds of fun. Sometimes, I get a little cold from stress or vaccines, but don't worry-no one else catches it from me! My foster mom knows just what keeps me healthy and happy and will share with you her tricks. We're on the lookout for a forever home filled with love, toys, food, and a shoulder or two to ride, where we will have so much fun together. If you're ready to welcome a pair of playful hearts into your life, I can't wait to meet you! Apply to adopt Ray Ray and I at www.tenthlifecats.org/adopt.

More about this rescue

Tenth Life's Mission:
Giving cats the lives they deserve.
At Tenth Life, we believe that every cat, regardless of emotional or physical limitations, deserves the chance at a fulfilling and happy life.
We provide veterinary care, foster homes, and adoptive placement to stray cats and kittens, prioritizing those with special needs. We work to end unnecessary euthanasia and cat homelessness through educational outreach, community programs, and collaborative partnerships.

Only when a trusted veterinarian determines that a cat is in a state of incurable suffering, does Tenth Life relieve them of their pain through gentle and humane euthanasia. This difficult and thoughtful decision is never made in response to a lack of space, negative behaviors, or because a cat's medical needs are challenging or expensive.

To learn more about some of the cats we prioritize, visit our website, www.tenthlifecats.org. Thank you!
