Meet Trina, a sweet senior dachshund with a heart full of love and a nose always on the hunt for treats! Trina was found wandering the hot streets of San Antonio, Texas, but she's now safe and dreaming of a cozy forever home to live out her golden years.
At around 10 years old, Trina has a gentle soul and, like many seniors, she's a bit shy at first. But once she gets to know you, she's the most loving and affectionate companion. Her favorite things in life? Air conditioning, warm beds, and snacks! Trina adores food and will happily wag her tail for a treat or two.
This little lady is looking for a quiet, comfy home where she can be showered with attention, snuggles, and all the care she deserves. She has been through the works, but if you're looking for a loyal friend who just wants to relax by your side and share some snacks, Trina is the one for you!

We transport all over the country and have regular routes we run. References available upon request.

The higher prices for Purebred and/or highly desirable pets. Adoption application, adoption contract, return/foster agreement if dog doesn't work out in home.
We work hard to place dogs in the right homes, if the adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in Bexar county TX +usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal, help the adopter screen applicants and help facilitate finding another home for the dog.

We are a group of loving and dedicated individuals who work together to save as many deserving animals as we can. We work tirelessly to assure the animals are well fed, socialized, are healthy and then find them the wonderful home they only dreamed of in the shelter or starving on the streets.
