Cooper is a fixed male about 4 years old. We got him at 1 year old. He is playful and likes to be near us at all times. He does great with our kids, cats and will play gently with them. We think he is cattle dog mixed with with some sort of shepherd. He is about 50lbs and has updated rabies vaccine.
We used to live on some land and thought cooper would be able to make the transition into city life, but it has not gone well. We are not able to give them the training, stimulation and time they need now - especially with 4 young kids and one on the way. He is great with our kids and cats but we just cannot give him the attention and love that he needs.
He would do great with a family that can give them the daily walks and training needed for higher energy breeds. Cooper has the natural instinct to herd (he used to put our goats back in the pen for us) but has never been officially trained to do so. He has also alerted us when we had someone trespassing on our property at night.
