Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I`m a calm and easygoing feline, content to spend my days nestled in a cozy spot, patiently awaiting the arrival of my adoring fans. While I may be a bit reserved at first, once I`ve had the chance to size you up, I`ll delight in your affections, purring and nuzzling to my heart`s content. My life has taken an unexpected turn, but I`m looking forward to the next chapter. I dream of a peaceful home where I can while away the hours, losing myself in the pages of a good book - or a particularly engaging nap. If you have room in your heart and home for a refined, literary-minded companion, I`d be honored to join you on your adventures. Won`t you come meet me? How did I get here? Surrendered by my owner when they could no longer care for me.
~My adoption fee is $65.00.~

More about this rescue
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.
The mission of the SPCA is to transform the lives of pets and people through protection, care, education, and adoption.
The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million. The SPCA of Wake County is not affiliated with, nor do we receive funding from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
